Just received from my DevOps team something called Brand Indicators for Message Identification (BIMI) - a recently proposed standard.
Standard draft: (See Appendix D for clear examples)
This should work well but we have not tested it personally yet. Will keep you guys posted once testing is successful.
I have a business account with GSuite.
Google support says you have to change your display picture(even if you create a business profile on G+) and that's it. But in reality it changes sender image only for other Gmail/GSuite users, not for users of other email providers.
As observed by Chris Ash in the comments, I too have observed various sender logos from Netflix(Netflix also uses Gsuite for their corporate mails), Apple, PlayStation etc in my personal hotmail account and one thing they have in common is that they all send DKIM-signed mails if you check their email headers.
As suggested by some users here, it can't be that a business owner has to register in all the email providers just to show their sender logos in all of them. There has to be an universal solution(standard) like DKIM/SPF
I have still not found a solution but i'm testing DKIM on my domain and seeing how it can associate company logo with it.
Will update here as soon as i find a proven solution meanwhile hoping someone else finds a solution before me and post it here
