So I just tried it out. On the webpage, it said that temps could go down to 29F...I dont think that's happening anytime soon in LA! Now that I got the welcome email, I looked inside but didn't find any weather or coats.
Also, looking through the markup, I see a section commented out. This could also explain why the bottom section bleeded outside the width.

To answer your second question, one of the first rules of email marketing is that you can't really use JS. (I've seen people try, but I honestly don't know what client supports it). It poses a security risk and is typically disabled.
Also, Julie's solution looks correct.
I had someone set up the FBL, but I'll have to ask them about recent results. I've thought about rewarm up, but not sure if that'll help because this is based on reputation, and...gmail just does things differently than just being traditionally blacklisted. My next strategy is to create opt-in emails that go out to everyone once they are added to the db. We might end up burning the domain and ip and using a new one.
Glad you found the deliverability issue early on when you got there!
Wish I knew before :/
Right, having a system that dynamically pulls content directly from a webpage would be very complex, it would be much easier to have it all in a database that it can call from. You can then format it in the email.
Scraping content from a website to put into emails would be a nightmare solution.
I see, so you're dealing with this from a management perspective.
There shouldn't be any limitations to the @media queries that BB supports, and the ones in there seem fine. The email looks to be responsive, and if you test it in litmus and it renders as expected, then there's nothing to worry about. The number of media queries doesn't matter, as long as it is done correctly and works. It's all very custom to whatever you're building and how you want it to look.
The personal 'handling critique' aspect is something more personal that I can't help you with. Adding a button or divider shouldn't be difficult, they should probably already have snippets for that or have a way of creating buttons. If not, you might need someone more experienced, but it's honestly very elementary. Maybe your client isn't an email developer? Then I would understand.
After reading through your feedback, I could easily make all those changes within an hour, if not 30 min. If you need any assistance, feel free to reach out.
