Thanks Mark, I saw your SVG (image) talk at Litmus Live actually and is something I was going to start looking into in the New Year.
Essentially I was looking for better quality images/icons and as you pointed out with the ability to control colour.
Ah thanks Paul I understand.
I personally stay away from buttons that involve images. Traditional all the way for me, hopefully others can help you.
Little of topic, but its email none the less.
I/we use https://www.exclaimer.co.uk/ as a way control what signatures we roll out, ensures the brand is portrayed a consistently across all users. I create them on one place and it pushes them out to all staff via user policies at logon.
That being said, they are created in HTML. Whilst the software offers ways to include the images in the sending of emails, you can also use include in the HTML code in the <img> properties:
@Nathan The goal ultimately is to ensure our 400+ staff around the country can see all the emails we send out. Using a board has been a choice in the past, but not all are in the head office to view.
@Jaina Scope is a very good option! I do use Scope a fair bit, I presume (quick looking now) there isn't a single link for all scoped emails. It's on link per scope?
@Mark also very valid! A single user could unsubscribe that email address though? DotMailer is our ESP, Outlook our internal mail client.
So far my only option is to use DotMailer's feed feature, that provides text links to each email campaign sent. This list can be narrowed down by using the mailing tags used to tag a send, its just really ugly... Might have to wear the web dev hat for a day!
