A few years ago I needed buy-in for Litmus. No one really understood what it was or why it was needed so I got a couple co-workers phones and a couple different laptops. I opened one of our older emails in a bunch of different email clients, one on each machine and it looked so horrible in a few of the clients. I said that we either need to buy one of every device ever, or we could purchase a small subscription and see how our email looks pretty much anywhere.
Do you have suggestions of resources or tutorials to help with learning how to setup a process like this? I come from a design background mostly and not front-end so don't have a ton of experience with preprocessors or static site generators I see mentioned here a lot. I've found some tools on building Gulp/grunt workflows before but they assume a lot of front-end knowledge already with how to incorporate JSON or use task runners in general and I find there's still quite a bit of a learning gap.
