When we initially set out to create The Email Design Conference, we were guided by some strong principles. We wanted to give people a place to learn, a venue to grow, a platform to express themselves, an opportunity to meet likeminded people—united by the desire to make email better.
Directed by those principles, we’ve created something so much more than we could have ever anticipated. We’ve educated and inspired hundreds of attendees, united a community of talented, considerate individuals who care deeply about the craft of email, and given them a place to call home.
As we’ve been reflecting on the journey so far, we’ve realized that our industry isn’t just made up of hardworking individuals, but also teams and organizations working on projects that enrich everyone in the community. And we realized The Email Design Conference would be a richer experience with these companies involved.
Traditionally, events handle this type of involvement through sponsorship. However, TEDC isn’t your typical conference, and typical event sponsorship isn’t what we’re after. We’ve created something much better, something we call patronage.
