Job Description:

The Global Support and Services (GSS) organization at Mentor, A Siemens Business is passionate about delivering service excellence to its customers. With continuing growth in our portfolio and online proposition, we have an exciting opportunity for a Marketing Automation Specialist to help drive our Support Services business.

This new role is responsible for increasing customer adoption and consumption of Support and Services across the Mentor/ Siemens portfolio, extracting maximum value and delivering targeted marketing programs in a multi-channel environment.

The successful candidate will have the ability to execute and offer best practice guidance to support a growing number of digital marketing programs and strategies and possess a track record of measurable development in their customer-focused marketing career.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the planning and implementation of digital marketing programs to targeted customer groups and segments

  • Use agreed targeting criteria to manage list-building and segmentation models, and use analytics to inform and prioritize those models

  • Set up and testing of automations and segmentations in the marketing automation platform

  • Monitor conversion rates and make appropriate, incremental adjustments to improve results and optimize engagement

  • Provide support for other areas such as form building, webinar delivery and landing page creation

  • Work with content / program owners to review, revise and measure content effectiveness using analytics insight against agreed metrics

  • Liaise with colleagues across GSS and the wider Siemens PLM enterprise to coordinate marketing activities and maximize integration leverage

  • Coordinate, create and deliver internal communications and marketing vehicles focused on a globally distributed inside audience

Job Qualifications:

  • Experience in building and executing marketing programs using marketing automation systems such as Eloqua, SalesForce Marketing Cloud, and Marketo

  • Implementation experience with Marketing Cloud’s Email and Automation Studios and Content and Contact Builders is a plus. Knowledge of AMPScript, SQL, and Javascript would be useful.

  • Experience in working with analytics tools such as Omniture, including integrations with marketing tools and report building

  • Basic HTML/ CSS skills and best practices for building marketing assets such as landing pages and email is required. Knowledge of email client optimization, primarily for Microsoft Outlook, is a plus.

  • Experience in working with data and databases, including basic or better understanding of database principles and integrations.

  • B2B marketing expertise targeted to a highly technical, engineering-led audience

  • Demonstrated experience in successfully executing digital marketing programs and campaigns

  • Proven experience in working across a global team and building relationships with multiple stakeholders and third parties

  • Strong project management skills, including successful delivery of long-term project goals, working with tight deadlines, and managing with limited resources in a matrix organization

  • Experience in producing or being involved in translating marketing strategies and goals to program requirements and functional specifications to guide best practices throughout implementation

  • Excellent written and copy writing skills, especially within the context of digital marketing and web publishing

  • Exceptional interpersonal communication skills, as this position requires frequent communication with colleagues, partners, and customers in multiple geographies

  • Strong analytical skills and time management skills; ability to manage multiple priorities while delivering high-level results

Education:

The successful candidate should hold 4 year college degree (BA/BS) and have 3 - 5 years’ experience working in digital marketing; ideally this experience will have been gained in a global, high-tech B2B environment. Knowledge of PLM and EDA technologies is not essential but would be advantageous.
