Yep! Campaign Monitor (unsurprisingly) already has a post up about what's going on. At first blush, it looks like they're just bumping up the font size, similar to how iOS has a minimum font size and resizes anything below that automatically.
Still, it's a very small step in the right direction for making email better in the Gmail app. Here's hoping for full media query support in 2015.
