I am working with an HTML that pulls in a photo from a database dynamically. The image is placed in the email in the following format:

<img src="cid:xxxxxx.png" alt="xxxxxx" style="">

The dynamic image is placed into the email with a max size of 160px or a max height of 120px (depending on the image orientation). I've tried several ways to scale the image down to a max-width of 80px wide but nothing seems to be working. Here is my current code:

<table border="0" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" width="80" style="mso-table-lspace:0pt;mso-table-rspace:0pt;border-collapse:collapse;border-spacing:0px;max-width:80px;" class="cke_show_border" role="presentation">
<tr style="border-collapse:collapse;">
<td width="80" class="profile_photo" style="padding:0;Margin:0;">
<div style="width:80px;">[variable_photo]</div>
</td>
</tr>
</table>

I also added a CSS style in the head:

.profile_photo img {
width: 80px !important;
max-width: 100% !important;
height: auto !important;
}

This is not working for me. Does anyone have a solution on scaling/resizing CID Embedded Images in HTML email?
