With security becoming more stringent is it possible for email clicks to be blocked and therefore not be reported within ESPs? Assuming an email is deemed safe enough to land in a recipients inbox you could legitimately conclude that any subsequent click would not be considered to be a security risk, even if the result is a server forwarding that information back to the ESP.

However if that ping of information were to be deemed a security risk I would think sensible for it to be blocked.

If this is already common place, or should become so in future, the reporting in ESP's would be misleading and potentially present risks for actions like unsubscribes going unrecorded.

Is this already a phenomenom or a very rare occurence? Any feedback would be welcomed.
