We're noticing that Outlook for MacOS appears to be ignoring the relatively new media query to help style emails for users with a dark interface. We have

<meta name="supported-color-schemes" content="light dark">
<meta name="format-detection" content="telephone=no">

and

@media (prefers-color-scheme: dark) {
.somechanges {blahblah;}
}

and Outlook for MacOS appears to completely disregard these (prefering its own invasive dark mode palette swap method), where web browsers and mobile clients seem to handle them just fine. Is anyone else experiencing this?

Sidemail appears to have it working, per their screenshot:

Litmus, in their "ultimate guide to dark mode" does not appear to even have this working correctly.

(notice the Mac Outlook renders differently from the other dark mode renders)
