Outlook Desktop/App Ignores Display None?
I've been running into an issue in Outlook on desktop and mobile, where the client won't always hide a <td> styled with "display: none;" CSS. In the desktop view, I'm hiding my mobile sized banner with inline CSS. On mobile, I'm hiding the desktop sized banner and showing the mobile using media queries.
I know media queries don't work in Outlook desktop clients, but they seem to be ignoring my inline "style="display: none;" declaration on desktop, and is showing both banners anyway. Vice versa, Outlook accounts on the iPhone native email client seem to be doing the opposite, and not hiding my desktop banner, while still mobile optimizing the rest of the email, and showing the mobile sized banner. Anyone run into something like this before, and have a fix for it? Thanks!
