Hi all,

Anyone encountering text size adjustments in the Yahoo Mail app iOS (and similarly Gmail app iOS for that matter)?

It seems that there is a text size increase algorithm being applied to text when it meets a certain threshold (12 pixels in font size it seems, but can vary). From some reading it seems that this is applied for legibility purposes on iOS but it is making the email look proportionately incorrect.

The wisdom seems to be to apply the CSS -webkit-text-size-adjust: none; / text-size-adjust: none; to the affected HTML elements to prevent this behaviour, but from testing this seems to be having no effect. I've also had a look at iOS settings to see if there are any settings to turn this off which the apps may be inheriting. I couldn't find anything.

The equivalent applications running on Android do not seem to be affected by this.

Any ideas?
