Hello!

We're getting reports of dots in links being removed in really old clients such at btinternet.com, @sky.com. Due to the nature of the emails, it's near impossible to get hold of an account to test (they all tend to be linked to another service being provided), so I was just wondering if anyone else had ever come across this &, if they did, if they knew of a fix?

An example would be like:

https://wwww.anexampleurl.com

being convereted to:

https://wwww.anexampleurlcom

In some instances, it replicates the dot to create:

https://wwww.anexampleurl..com

I'm tearing the internet apart trying to figure it out (and giving myself a headache), so any help at all would be much appreciated!!
