Greetings! I am developing an email for a client but they request that I use spacer.gif's for padding instead of using CSS padding. After running tests of my finished code in Litmus, the padding seems to work in most email clients but Outlook 07/10/13 seems unable render the left and right padding that I used. But the top and bottom padding I used seems to be working fine. Here is an example:

<tr>

<td height="20" style="line-height:1px;"> <img style="display:block;" height="1" alt="" src="images/spacer.gif" width="1" border="0"></td> <!--top padding-->

</tr>

<tr>

<td width="25"><img style="display:block;" alt="" src="images/spacer.gif" width="1" height="1" border="0"></td><!--left padding-->

<td style="font-family: 'Trebuchet MS', Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size:13px; color:#666666;text-align:left;">main text goes in here</td>

<td width="25"><img style="display:block;" alt="" src="images/spacer.gif" width="1" height="1" border="0"></td><!--right padding-->

</tr>

<tr>

<td height="20" style="line-height:1px;"> <img style="display:block;" height="1" alt="" src="images/spacer.gif" width="1" border="0"></td> <!--bottom padding-->

</tr>

Any ideas of what I can add to this so the left and right padding works throughout the email? I appreciate any help!
