Embedded CSS results vs Inline CSS results
My team is A/B testing an Embedded CSS template vs an Inlined CSS template. The goal was to keep engagement numbers (opens, clicks) at least flat and decrease the number of emails being clipped by Gmail. The design remains identical.
Currently we are seeing a dip in clicks with the Embedded CSS template but aren't sure what's causing this result. If you're embedding at least 95% of your CSS, how is it effecting your email metrics? If you're seeing similar results, have you narrowed down the cause?
