Piece of Code Disabling Ability to Track Clicks
Hello -- I recently started using a new email template which was a free template I'd gotten from a blog (it may have actually been Litmus, but I forget exactly) which I customized to meet my company's needs. The template itself looks great and renders beautifully in all mail clients. The only problem, though, is that there's a piece of syntax somewhere in the code that has been disabling Pardot's (my email platform) ability to track the clicks.
Does anyone know if there are specific pieces of syntax not to use in CSS or HTML code that will prevent tracking clicks? The link functionality within the email itself is fine and doesn't prevent users from clicking through to the correct URL, it just isn't picking up on the clicks on the backend. Any advice is appreciated. Thanks!
