I have a td container of 'fixed' height which will get filled with text using a dynamic variable. I want to make sure that the text doesn't overflow. So far I have managed to make it work in almost all email clients except for the Gmail app. Anyone have any fixes?

Code given below:

<tr><td valign="top" style="padding-bottom:10px;height:60px;" height="60" align="left">
<!--[if gte mso 9]>
      <v:rect xmlns:v="urn:schemas-microsoft-com:vml" fill="true" stroke="false" style="width:290px;
height:60px;">
        <v:fill type="tile" src="" color="" />
        <v:textbox inset="0,0,0,0">
      <![endif]-->
<div class="mktEditable" id="Body" style="height: 60px;overflow: hidden;max-height: 60px;text-align:left;">
<table  width="100%" cellspacing="0" border="0" cellpadding="0">
<tr><td valign="top" align="left" style="font-family:Lato,Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size:20px;font-weight:bold;color:#333333;line-height:30px;">
<a href="{{link}}" style="text-decoration:none;color:#333333;" target="_blank">Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetuer adipiscing elit. Aenean commodo ligula eget dolor. Aenean massa. Cum sociis natoque penatibus et magnis dis parturient montes, nascetur ridiculus mus. </a>
</td></tr>
</table>
</div>
<!--[if gte mso 9]>
        </v:textbox>
      </v:rect>
      <![endif]-->
</td></tr>
