Testing new HTML templates vs old HTML templates methods - what is yours?
Hi fellow email geeks.
I was interested to know if anyone has any methods for testing new templates vs old when introducing a new email product suite?
Previously, I've segmented the most active part of our recipient list and A/B tested the old template vs new template for a number of alternative weeks. We add a notification onto the email to let them know why they might receive different templates and also offer a link to a short survey to encourage feedback.
When introducing new templates over an existing suite, does anybody have any tips, hints or methods that they use and are keen to share?
