HELP! Stamplia template either Outlook friendly OR Mobile responsive NOT BOTH
Hi there
Downloaded a Stamplia email template and (with my limited code skills) I can make it work in either Mobile or certain Outlook 2007/2010/2013 versions BUT NOT BOTH.
The email template I downloaded was 'Minty": https://litmus.com/blog/go-responsive-with-these-7-free-email-templates-from-stamplia?utm_campaign=feb2014news&utm_source=newsletter&utm_medium=email
Can you advise a fix for this?
Here is the Litmus test result - see whats happening to Outlook 2007 onwards (when we added tables to fix we lost mobile responsiveness): http://mindworksmarketingcommunications2.createsend.com/screens/y/470029646BF0A50F Any help appreciated
Thanks CAmeron
Heya,
Ghost tables might be your best bet
<!--[if (gte mso 9)|(IE)]>
<table align="left" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" border="0" style="border-collapse: collapse;" >
<tr>
<td style="padding: 0 6px;">
<![endif]-->
{content}
<!--[if (gte mso 9)|(IE)]>
</td>
</tr>
</table>
<![endif]-->
The table above will only show up in an outlook desktop email client (excluding apple mail's one)

Thanks Kris
I'll check it out!
Hi Cameron,
If you have limited coding skills, it sounds like you're punching above your weight.
I would find another template - any alterations for future issues would be a pain to fix if you don't really know whats going on already.
Nice one Marc
I'm going to kick it around a bit first as the layout works from a messaging and creative perspective but you are right it would be easier to change templates.. however, I've looked at a few other templates ...and they're layouts seem to Mobile targeted and lifeless. Mostly my prospects are not quite 100% mobile users, yet!.
Cheers
P.S. Will let you know how Kris's fix goes..We might both benefit from punching above our weight on this occasion ☺
