YahooMail has some CSS that pulls in from the Yahoo Iris Messenger.

  • { -webkit-padding-start: 0; }

This code seems to remove the left padding created by the attribute cellpadding="20" on a table. Is this something Yahoo is keeping around? If so, is there any CSS that can be added to the email to override this?

I found that specifying a -webkit-padding-start on each table/td can help alleviate it, but at that point, the email may as well be recoded as each cellpadding needs to be accounted for.

This rule also alters the centering of text on the "Search Mail" and "Search Web" buttons on the email client so I am hoping this was not intentional and just a mistake by the Messenger team.

So, any thoughts on possible easy fixes to tables using cellpadding?
