I know that text/image ratio is an important thing to keep in mind, but I'm not having any luck in finding what the ratio includes. Is the text part of the ratio just the file size without images loaded -- the entire HTML code of the email? I'm not sure whether that's it or whether it's literally just the text content of the email. Obviously, if it includes the unseen HTML and CSS of the emai, it would make a huge difference in our email ratios.

I'm also unsure about the image part. I believe it's actually the combined file size of every image in the email, but I have a senior that seems to think it's based on the image dimensions and that images should take up less screen real estate than the text. Again, these two guesses would produce vastly different numbers.

Any clarification on this is appreciated. Thanks!
