Image Size (Email Weight) and Deliverability
Hello! I've got a client who wants to run an animated gif in our weekly newsletter. The image is currently 8.7mb - though we may be able to optimize, it is pretty much a full-on video so we're still likely sitting at 4mb+
My question is - do large images (heavy emails) result in spam flagging and delivery issues? I am aware of poor user experience (which negatively affects our asset) but I am wondering about deliverability specifically (short-term and long-term).
I've seen conflicting information on this but wondered if there was any formal conclusion.
