iPhone 6 Upwards Displays Date with 2016+ as Link
I got kind of a weird issue regarding display date which is ending with “2016” (upwards) in iPhone 6 series, iPad +Mini.
This is the Code
<tr> <td class="zon-jobad-jobinfo" valign="top" align="left" style="color: #555555; font-family: Arial,sans-serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: 18px; font-weight: normal; text-decoration: none; text-align: left; margin: 0; padding: 0 0 0 8px; "> <b>Arbeitgeber:</b> Hochschule Koblenz, Höhr-Grenzhausen<br /> <b>Erschienen am:</b> 19.11.2015<br /> <b>Bewerbungsschluss:</b> 06.01.2016 </td> </tr>
And here is the Screenshot (iPhone 6)
Why is the year the determining factor for displaying the whole date as a link? Do anyone knows a workaround?
To make sure, that I could fix it easily myself, I tried to add a <br /> at the end of the date – as it is the line before (sometimes it is just a ridiculous thing like that). I also tried another date type (6.1.2016) and I tried to put this line in a separate <tr></tr>. But it didn’t have any effect. Of course I use
<meta name="format-detection" content="telephone=no">
It seems to be just the fact, that it is an upcoming year.
Thank you – and: Merry Christmas!
