Preheader with social buttons + hide in mobile?
I have noticed that a lot of responsive templates hide the preheader when viewed on a mobile device. In most cases this preheader contains the link to view in a browser and maybe social media buttons or something. Is it the norm to hide the view in browswer link and in the case of the email I'm working on, social media buttons? Keep in mind these social media buttons are not to share the story or content being shared in the email. They link to our company's facebook, youtube, etc.
I know in mobile it makes sense to condense and cut out assets in order to have a quicker message that is to the point and easy to read however I would like to hear from the community here.
