I'm new to creating html emails, so I've been working on a test/learning email for myself. I'm pretty happy with how it's looking across a lot of the clients, but the Android native email client, not gmail, is causing me some headaches with it's phone number link in the footer. I've used the trick of putting a css class in a span, put redundent styling in the span, and wrapped the phone number in an A tag with the styling there too, and it's still coming up as a blue link. Now I don't have a problem with it generating a link, I just want that link to be the same color as the rest of the text in my footer.

I did a lot of searching and found plenty of articles about the Gmail app and iOS, but nothing for Android email. So I was hoping that someone else has delt with this issue, and can either help, or let me know it's just one of those things that can't be hacked. Thanks in advance for any help.
