Why you no work, Gmail?
Hi gang,
I've been driving myself crazy trying to figure out why my template isn't displaying properly in Gmail, I think I've been looking at it too long. I'm hiding my nav on mobile and have a stacked nav at the bottom, as well as a separate content for mobile and desktop in the footer for social/free shipping. It looks great everywhere, except Gmail. Which shows both versions. Any ideas on what I'm missing?

Thanks!
Wrap the nav you want hidden in Gmail in a
<div>
as well, and give that the same inline styling to get it to hide. Found I had to update a bunch of emails recently as something had changed in Gmail, and my hidden things were no longer hidden! Adding a div around them fixed it.Thanks for this. It's sorted out now, I think I had my <div> placed incorrectly. But thank goodness this is finally working!
Great to hear :)
Have you tried putting
style="mso-hide: all; display: none; max-height: 0px; overflow: hidden;"
on your containing <td>?Thanks Jessica! Tried this out last week and in previous tests with little success. I'm going to give the response below a shot and have been told that my meta tags may be affecting it, as well. Fingers crossed!
