I'm having a problem with Android's gmail app and the Roboto font. It seems like if I declare any web-safe font in my css (e.g., arial, helvetica, for example) Android's gmail app always displays the Roboto font. Even if I try to use variants of Roboto like Roboto Condensed or Roboto lite in my css, the font always defaults to Roboto. Is there any css declaration to get around this in Android (not using @font-face)? Or is there some other font besides Roboto that is factory installed on Android that I can use through a css declaration?
Thanks in advance.
