Office 365 (OWA) and its many quirks
I've recently done a write up on Office 365 (OWA) after I wanted to see first hand what the OWA pre-processor was doing to emails. As the Office 365 services are generally more geared towards exterprise and hence not free services, it might make it difficult for others to gain access to such services directly, so I did a write up for anyone who wanted to know how to better prepare your emails for the OWA app in Office 365.
Spolier alert, QUIRKS AHEAD!

Great write up with some useful hacks.
Cheers for sharing.
Thanks for the feedback Mark, hope it helps the community!
Thank you for this! I have an Office 365 account for my school email and testing on it has proven to be a gigantic headache. That tip about the hex code was very smart.
Your welcome! I have come to the conclusion that Office 365 is indeed massive pain. Microsoft continue to ensure were going to be coding for the lowest dominator in terms of cross email client compatibility for a while yet.
The hex code tip can be actually used for a few clients for different colours, notably Gmail also requires a similar method as it doesn't accept black or #000000 as a hyperlink colour.
Brill write up. Don't have access to Office 365 for any testing purposes, so it's good to get some sort of idea of what kind of havoc it's playing with my emails.
Thanks!
Our ESP uses Email on Acid's API and they just added Office 365 to their testing suite which filtered down to us recently. I couldn't believe how broken some things were so I decided to look into it further by setting up a single Office 365 mailbox, because a screenshot just wasn't enough to understand how the OWA pre-processor works in Office 365.
Wow this is so helpful thank you for investigating and giving us a starting point for understanding Office 365.
Your welcome!
If I find any further quirks/fixes, I'll update my write up!
Not sure if this is available outside of the US, but GoDaddy is having a $1/mo deal for a domain + website + Office 365 email for a year.
I wrote a post here on what you need to do if you want to make sure you don't get billed at the regular rate ($11.99/mo) after 1 year.
