I just saw this article from Pure 360 about emails shortening in 2014
http://www.pure360.com/online-marketing-news/emails-to-shorten-in-length-during-2014

It got me wondering if anyone else has some predictions for 2014?

The new Google update has got me thinking about load times. I've done a lot of work on our website to speed up load times but not so much on our emails. Could be a new trend for 2014.

Mobile opens are now over 50% we could maybe start to see that plateau next year?

Personally I'm hoping to see a lot more CSS animation and if we're all doing it, maybe some of the webmail clients may catch on.

After dropping support for margins in January, I'm looking forward to see what Outlook.com have in store for us next year. Perhaps dropping support for tables?

Cheers,
Mark
