Why declare font-size and line-height to be zero?
Recently, I have been seeing email templates that declare the font size and line height to equal zero on all table cells containing images - regardless of the image width or height.
<td style="font-size:0px; line-height:0px;"><img alt="" border="0" height="79" src="http://images.net/AA_07.jpg" style="display:block;" width="101"/></td>
I am hoping someone can explain to me why the table cell would be coded this way. My guess is that it's trying to solve the under 15px image height bug in Outlook 2013, but I could be way off.
