Hi Everyone,

Been fidling round with ALT text for some time. Got to a good point with it regarding a Alt text reset/global:
img { -ms-interpolation-mode: bicubic; background: #f1f1f1; color: #000000; font-size: 1em; line-height:100%; text-align: center; }

And then using inline alt text for trumping/overriding the "global" with specific styling for a ad-hoc banner/s:
<img class="dw" src="https://litmus-builder.s3.amazonaws.com/1436867219763"
alt=" Blue - img" width="650" height="300" style="display: block; color:#ffffff;
background:#00beed; font-size:60px; line-height:100px; font-weight:bold;
text-align:center; text-decoration:none;" border="0" />
(edited: some code got trimmed off here )

The Issue:
The issue I am having is Gmail App on device are not showing alt text up at-all!
(Unlike the webmail version of Gmail which works fine..)

Screen-shots for Gmail on physical device:

Nexus Tablet (running lollipop 5.1.1 ) show **no ** Alt text: https://litmus-builder.s3.amazonaws.com/1436870905379
Samsung Galaxy (running Kitkat 4.4.2) show **no ** Alt text: https://litmus-builder.s3.amazonaws.com/1436870888442

Litmus Gmail test shows my test showing gmail alt text on the with images off with text, not sure this is correct,
Gmail App (Android): https://litmus.com/tests/22078903/versions/1/results#androidgmailapp-full_off

Anyone know how to make Alt text work in Device Gmail?
