Hi, so I have a question, something I've been having issues with.

In Outlook 2007/2010/2013, if an image tag does not include a set height attribute, there isn't room for Alt-text to show up.

The obvious solution would be to set a height for it.

<img src="#" height="blah" alt="Blah blah alt text" />

But I also need the image to then be fluid for Gmail mobile

So I would go like so:

<img src="#" height="blah" alt="Blah blah alt text" style="width: 100%; height: auto;"  />

The result for this is gmail will shrink the width of the image, but then keep the set height from the image tag html attribute, resulting in a squished image that doesn't scale proportionately.

The issue with Gmail is that it takes the CSS property 'height' and carries it over to 'min-height', min-height: auto; does not work. Then, it still listens to the html attribute 'height' from the image tag, because the height CSS property never gets overridden.

I hope I explained this correctly. I can not for the life of me figure out a solution that will allow outlook to have a set height, without gmail having squished fluid images.
