It’s that time of year, email geeks! As you’re reflecting on what a crazy year 2016 was for email (and beyond), we pulled together a list of our most-loved posts to inspire your 2017 planning.
This year we brought Litmus Live to three cities—Boston, London, and San Francisco—with a total of 1,300 attendees! Litmus Live brought us knowledge from email geeks around the world and topics that varied from modular design to making great abandoned cart emails. Here’s what inspired us the most.
TEDC brings together a huge community of people who live, breathe, and love email. Sharing your experience will help us all learn to make email better. If you’re passionate about email, have hands-on experience, or can present a unique perspective, we invite you to submit a speaking proposal.
When it comes to email, it’s all about providing your subscribers with a great experience. However, this doesn’t mean that your email has to look the same across every client—it just needs to be easily accessible for all of your subscribers. So, while HTML5 and CSS3 may not be supported everywhere, it doesn’t mean you shouldn’t use it. Use progressive enhancement and graceful degradation to ensure a positive email experience for all of your subscribers.
Between The Email Design Conference 2014 being sold out, budget constraints, and busy summer schedules, many were unable to join us at TEDC14. But, don’t worry—we recorded every single session! You can watch all of the amazing content—including slides—from the comfort of your own home (or office).
With all of the invaluable feedback from last year’s events in hand, we set out to make this year’s conference even bigger and better. After months (and months and months) of preparation, as well as the addition of workshops, breakout sessions, roundtable discussions, 1:1 sessions, and #TEDCNTACC to this year’s event, we’re calling Litmus Live 2014 a major success. Re-live the moments with us!
With Litmus Live 2014 coming up in August, we wanted to take some time out to get to know our speakers better. Today, Fabio Carneiro and Jay Jhun talk about the meeting of creativity and technical challenges, the state of email design, video games, and kickboxing.
With Litmus Live coming up in August, we wanted to take some time out to get to know our speakers better. Mike Heimowitz and Jason Meeker talk about why email’s important, their first email addresses, and getting Matt Byrd to rap TLC again.
We realize that (unfortunately!) not everyone that appreciates email as much as we do will be able to join us at The Email Design Conference. While everyone can follow the fun on Twitter (#TEDC14), we’d love to get all of the email lovers out there involved a bit more. How are we going to do that? Two sessions will include responses from those that know and value the industry the best—YOU!
