I was privileged to be presented with the Email Experience Council’s 2018 Email Marketer Thought Leader of the Year Award. Honestly, I’ve been really overwhelmed with feelings of gratitude toward the industry and everyone I’ve worked with. In preparing the acceptance speech I delivered at the Email Evolution Conference last week, I actually wrote two others. I wanted to share all three with you here.
While opens and clicks are a great way to measure overall engagement, they don’t paint the whole picture of a campaign’s performance. Our award-winning campaign didn’t have high opens or clicks, but it did accomplish its goal of creating awareness and generating buzz around The Email Design Conference.
