Introducing Jenn, Brian, and Julia

We’ve been busy lately! Not only have we launched the first code editor built for email designers by email designers (hello, Litmus Builder), we’ve also added some amazing members to our team. We’re thrilled to introduce Julia, Brian, and Jenn—the newest additions to the Litmus family.

Julia grew up in Massachusetts, went to Boston College, and never left the area—she’s a true Boston fanatic. Since graduating, she’s worked in accounting for various industries, like non-profit and manufacturing, but she’s found her passion lies in the software world. Hence, she’s thrilled to join Litmus’ finance team, alongside Julie and Maria, and help further grow the company.

Outside of work, Julia’s interests vary from reading (classics to fantasy) to watching the Patriots, to exploring new restaurants, activities, and cities.

Brian grew up all over the east coast—he was born in Hershey, Pennsylvania (and hated chocolate for the first few years of his life), moved to Boston, then Virginia Beach, Miami, back to Pennsylvania, and then Connecticut (wow!). He ended up going to MIT for college and has been in Boston ever since!

Since graduating, he’s worked a variety of jobs from sales to marketing and ended up on the customer success team at HubSpot (he was one of the first 20 employees there!). After helping grow their customer and employee base, Brian transitioned to another startup, Evergage, where he was in charge of customer success.

He’s looking forward to using what he learned in his past jobs about customer marketing and engagement and data analysis at Litmus. He’ll be joining David, Josh, and Jenn on the customer success team.

Jenn joins the customer success team with a primary focus around partnering with agencies and larger groups to ensure they are leveraging not only Litmus tools, but overall email best practices and processes.

Before email, Jenn actually dabbled in the world of publishing (what would you expect from a literary studies major?). She worked on digital and traditional marketing initiatives for authors and their latest works.

Jenn soon realized that her interests and curiosities lie in the tech space, so started working at a local Boston digital agency to hone her skills. From pharmaceutical to financial, Jenn worked with an array of industry clients and projects. Looking to go “client side,” Jenn most recently worked at Harvard University, supporting their central digital office, managing everything from websites to, yes, email.

In her spare time, you can find her spending time with her partner John, binge-watching the Walking Dead, going to Bruins games or concerts, and working at local rabbit rescue (yes, an animal rescue and shelter just for bunnies).

Between catered lunches, top notch equipment, 28 vacation days, and so much more, Litmus is a great place to work. In fact, the Boston Business Journal just named us a 2014 Best Places to Work winner! And, guess what? We’re hiring!
