Using your static email address

Each Litmus account has a static email address. Rather than manually starting a new email test each time, you can quickly start a new test (using your default selection of email clients) by just sending an email to your static address.

To find your static address, visit the Extras tab within your account.

Static Email Address

You may then send to your static email address directly from your ESP/mailer. If you are running a spam filter test, it is not recommended to use the static email address as you will not receive your reputation scoring results.

You can also add tags with the static email address. Add the desired tags (separated by plus signs) to the end of your static address.

For example:
webinar.example.12345.new+newsletter+monthly@emailtests.com

would add 'newsletter' and 'monthly' tags to your new email test.

Be careful not to leave your static address on multiple mailing lists, or your account may get filled up with tests you didn't intend to run. We also have a rate limit in place for static email address tests to prevent abuse. We monitor the usage of all customers' static email addresses, and if we see unusually high numbers of tests being processed we'll temporarily suspend the address in question and contact you to see if it may have been compromised.
